Am I Always Doing Everything Wrong?

"You should have left the Christmas tree out for a day and then have straightened it out."
"No, your finger goes here on the fingerboard (on the violin)."
"Didn't you memorize the lines for the play?"
"Now you ruined it! I have to start all over again!"
"You should have gotten the DayQuil, not the NiQuil."
"It looks like someone walked up to it and puked on it! I hate it!"
"Why don't you just do it my way? It's way better than your stupid idea."
"WHY DON'T YOU EVER LISTEN TO ME?"

A Kind of Average Thursday

Today has been in between average and a little special. But luckily, I still have something to type about. I haven't gotten any comments from anyone in awhile, but I need your feedback! Please comment!
Thursday is the day that I usually have drama club after school, but I skipped it. The drama teacher (I won't mention who because that would be mean) is horrible! All we do are warm ups and games. We need to actually do some acting! We were working on a script earlier in the year, but I bet that she threw them out. And that's basically all that we worked on for the first 5 weeks! So I'm going to have one of my best friends (Krystal Fedie) tell the drama teacher that I have officially quit. I've had enough of this crap!
A good thing about today is that we have our 6th grade band concert tonight. We had a an hour and a half long rehearsal yesterday in the band room that was 75 degrees. Waaay too warm for most people's liking, like me. My lips were so sore that it hurt to talk after, but I did anyways. By the way, if you haven't read my profile, I'm the first oboe in our band. We have five total, and the person in last chair (Isabella, not Polaske) has just started this year. Our band is pretty average, but we have a LOT of room for improvement.
For the flute countdown, today is day four! If you don't know what that is, read the post titled "Yet Another (almost) Average Tuesday." It'll tell you all about it. Tune in soon to read my next post!

The Inbetween Friday

I've got some bad news and some good news. More good than bad today, so that's good. :) At least it was a Friday.
So I just got home from the dance. I just took my shoes off and got a glass (not a plastic) of juice and settled down to type. But it was pretty fun! People watching is pretty entertaining! You can learn a lot, like this juicy tidbit; Vaughn (my immature and highly annoying still yet popular cousin) got hugged by a GIRL! You'd think that having a popular cousin would have benefits, but almost no one knows that we're cousins because we look exactly the opposite, except for that we're taller than most people our age and we're both 11. But anyways, it's official. Vaughn is going out with a girl and I have no idea what her name is.
Another thing about the dance; if you've ever been to a Girl Scout father-daughter dance, you have the basic idea of what this dance was like. Except there was no dads, the refreshments cost money, and the music was louder. But I actually danced! I just copied what everyone else did, and they were dancing, so I was too. My feet still hurt! I wore my aqua green low top Converse.
On to the bad news; all the wrapping paper and bows got ripped off my friend's locker! So now it's just like all of the other ones. *dramatic sigh* We worked so hard on that locker! And now it just looks like all of the other grey and boring lockers. So much for posting a picture. I should've right after we finished! Good things don't last very long unless it's an unbreakable marriage, huh?
So like I told you, I had mostly good and some bad news to tell. I hope that tomorrow will shape up because my friend Aubrey and I are making a Yule Log Cake for her french class. I hope it tastes good!

Lots and Lots of Bad News :(

If you read the title of this post, you will have a pretty good idea of what is happening currently in my life. I'll go from okay to horrible.
Remember when I said that I would post a picture of my friend's locker because we decorated it? If you don't, then you should read my last post. But I won't post a picture because the whole top half fell off! All of the pink wrapping paper, bows and "Happy Birthday" sign just vanished. Gone! Like it never existed! And we have no idea where it could have gone. We checked almost all of the garbage cans in the hallway. The only part left is the bottom half of the locker. That looks like it was never even touched.
Next on the bad news agenda, I stayed home from school today. At least I could get my homework done, thanks to our student resources page, aka Moodle. I have to do a journal page for literacy and a worksheet for math. And I have a test tomorrow in math! It covers all of chapter three, which includes "everything with two-step equations," "solving for x" and "applying geometric formulas to find the area and perimeter of a figure." At least I tried to study.
Last and certainly the worst, the house that's across the street got burned on Tuesday. Bad. The whole roof and garage door roof caved in! Nobody is sure how it started, but the fire trucks got there at about 3 o'clock in the morning and stayed until 7 o'clock. Most of the basement and main floor is fine, but the second floor and attic is completely trashed. On the left side (looking from the street), the peak is see-through because the siding burned off, and most of the back of the house is black and falling off. Luckily, they (the two grandparents that used to live there) got out safely. Now they are staying at one of their son's house. I really hope that they can move back into their house. We'll all be praying for them.
On the last good note, the Candyland dance is tomorrow! I'll try to remember to try to update you tomorrow or Saturday to say how it goes.

Yet Another (almost) Average Tuesaday

Note that I put almost in parenthesis in the title. If it were just another average Tuesday, I wouldn't have anything to type about. But I do.
My Aunt Sue is willing to let me have her daughter's (AKA cousin's for me) flute if I want it. And yessire! I sure do! It basically has the same fingerings as an oboe, so that shouldn't be the difficult part. It will be the different mouth position. I forgot the fancy word for it. BRAIN FART! I've started a count down on my mini whiteboard in my locker and today is 11 days before I can have it. We are going to her house for my Grandpa's birthday, which is on December 12th.
Another interesting tidbit about my day is that the dance is in 3 DAYS! Including today. And the last day to buy a ticket is tomorrow. I still haven't gotten one yet. I can be very forgetful, especially on my way to the cafeteria. Did you know that the word "cafeteria" is Spanish for "dining hall"? Anyways, the theme of the dance is Candyland, like the board game. It should be super fun, and it's casual. That means that you should wear shorts and a t-shirt because it's really warm in the gym. So if you wore a dress, you would really stand out. Should I wear my casual sundress or shorts and a t-shirt? Please comment your answer. They made this really clear on the announcements;DO NOT BRING A DATE! So I'm not going to.
Last thing about my day worth telling; my friend Rashelle and I decorated my other friend's Aubrey's locker for her birthday tomorrow. And the teachers and even the principal didn't mind when they walked by. The principal (Mrs. Polzinski) just asked if we had a ride home, which we both did. The locker looked really great when we were done! Rashelle brought the wrapping paper and I brought the sign, bows, and tape. Luckily the wrapping paper had a sticky back so it was like contact paper. I'll take a picture tomorrow and post it so you can see how awesome it looks. At least, I'll try to.
So stay posted! This time, it hasn't taken me a month to post again. ;) that's a winking smiley face

I Have a lot to be Thankful For!

Okay, I'm starting on a clean slate. If I had posted tomorrow, then it would have been a month since my last post. But that's all in the past. Gone. Forever. But you can still read it if you want  to.
I'm going to start out with one of the many things that I'm thankful for. And that is that I got accepted into the MYSO ensemble program! Only 100 people a season get accepted from all of the orchestras! I hope that I get into the string quartet I requested to be in. I turned in the sheet about a month earlier than the due date, so I have a pretty good chance of getting into the string quartet.
Another thing that I'm thankful for is Templeton Middle School. In my honest opinion, it's waaaay better than elementary school. The teachers don't treat you like babies anymore! I love all the classes I'm in except for Intro Computers, but it's only for a quarter. So that's good. One of the classes that's too easy for me is band. I'm playing 7th grade band material, and I'm working on oboe vibrato. Most people don't learn that until 8th grade! Mr. Neubauer, the band teacher, the expression on his face said that I'm pretty far on vibrato since I just started yesterday. But for most people, it takes years to learn.
I needed to go to another paragraph, but this is still about TMS (Templeton Middle School). I'm on high honor roll, have received a Principal's Pen Award, and am on the student council (TMSSC). So I'm very proud of my achievements! A Principal's Pen Award is an actual pen that the principal, not the assistant principal, hands out each quarter. Each teacher in the school can nominate two students each quarter, but a student can't be nominated another quarter. "We want to spread it around," Mr. Shurilla says. He's my science teacher.
I have a bazillion other things to be thankful for, but I would be typing all day if I typed them all. But maybe in my other posts I can say what I'm thankful for, so I you can hear other interesting stuff about me. And I promise that giant break in posts will not happen again.

I'm Sorry I've Been Slacking

I really love my blog and all, it's just that I keep putting it off. Not that anybody that I don't know reads this, but I know that my readers need a piece of my life to stay connected. Sorry!
On Saturday, my best friend (Cassidy) finally came down from Oshkosh/Appleton to sleepover. We carved pumpkins, took 2 long walks, made and ate pizzas, stayed up late and talked, and watched Harry Potter 5, aka the Order of the Phoenix. It was one of the best days I have ever had in my life! When it was about 6:00 pm we met Sonny Ciardo on the corner of Trapp Trail and Clover Drive, and he actually came! When we were about to head home, he turned around and said something (I can't remeber what) and looked right at me. So I flung my moccasin at him! And it hit him square in the chest! He fell down like someone had shot him with an arrow. Cassidy and I both fell down laughing. It was aboslutely hirlarious!
What else happened this past week... Oh yeah! Nothing at all. At least tomorrow is crazy sock day at school. I can't wait because I have several pairs of crazy knee-high socks! Whoopee! I'll try to remeber to post tomorrow to tell you how it goes. And if I even remeber to wear crazy socks at all.
I promise that I will try to post more. *crosses toes*

Wednesdays are Okay

Wednesdays are not as bad as Mondays, but they will never be as great as Fridays. It's just a fact of life. Deal with it.
So today I had a violin lesson. I think that they are fine, but they could be better. It's like jogging. If you just go jogging, you feel pooped. But if you take your iPod and listen to music, it makes you feel better. Well for me it does anyways. My point of that analogy was to say that violin lessons are like exercising and it's more fun with special stuff. One of my violin teachers is Mrs. Julie, and she love anything with pumpkin flavoring in it. So she commented on my facebook post about my mom's pumpkin pie, and asked if she could have any. Of corse, she was just kidding, but I gave her a big slice at my lesson today. She said (when we were playing Gavotte by Bach), "This pumpkin cake has been calling my name!"
Also, one more interesting thing happened today. Wait. Make that two more things. There's this one girl name Ariel and she's in my same house (houses are the same as homerooms) as me. One of my BFFs, Jordan, strongly dislikes her. Her nickname is horseface. So anyways, this morning, she came up to me and said,
"Hi Danielle."
"I'm not Danielle."
"Oh, I just recognized you from french class."
"I'm not taking french this quarter."
"Omygosh, I'm so sorry. You're Hayley! I feel so embarrassed! I'm so sorry!!!"
And that's how my morning before math went.
Last thing -- I'll make it quick, or my parents will force me to shut down the computer or they'll slam the screen on my hands.
Jordan was going to the bathroom from science, and horseface (aka Ariel), passed Jordan in the hallway.
"Hi Jordan!!"
"Hi horseface."
She had a really ugly expression right about then, like she smelled skunk spray, but Jordan would have said that she always has an ugly expression. Let's just say that she had an uglier expression than usual.
That was really the only events that happened today. Now dad's going to slam the computer on me.

Uh Oh

Wow -- this is the longest time I've gone without posting. Oops. Life gets busy, ya know?
My days are starting to blend together. Hours turn into days, days into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years. All of my school assingments for example are "pages 65-67 problems 2-52 evens only." Or "finish page 3 in your packet for tomorrow." Even all my after-school activites are blending together! Mosaic, MYSO, Standards of Excellence (a committee for student council), Violin Lessons, Finical Peace University (a budegting class), and FNF Youth group. I only have Standards of Excellence every 3rd Tuesday of the month, so tomorrow is my first meeting in Mrs. Sankey's room after-school.
Did I tell you about my incident on the activity bus? No I didn't because that happened 5 days ago. So I got on the activity bus and handed the bus driver my ticket, all fine and dandy. I told him "I live on Clover Drive, by Maple Avenue."
"So you live off of Maple Avenue?"
"No, my street is just connected to Maple Avenue."
   "Oh. Okay."
So la di da, here's me riding the bus. He turns onto my street, but turns down the wrong hill.
"Um, I live up this hill."
"But didn't you say that you live on Clover and Maple?"
   "Yeah."
"Well then remeber to say Clover and Dove Court next time, okay?"
   "Fine."
So that's basically how my activity bus experince went. At least I signed up for a ticket before school, unlike my forgetful friend, Krystal. I bet she called her mom from the office and got picked up. At least, I hope so.
I'll try to post move often, at least once every week. I've just been getting really behind. Sorry. If you remind me by sending me and email (at hayleyjazz@sbcglobal.net) then I'll probably post faster than if you don't say anything at all.
Random fact of the day: There are nearly 160 distinctive breeds and types of horses around the world, but the Arabian horse is unique in that it is the purest of all of the breeds. Found at http://facts.randomhistory.com/2008/11/12_horses.html

It's a Sunday -- Whoopee.

So today was a Sunday. It was sunny and hot for October, like 85 degrees, and that's way to hot. Like uncomfortably hot. Yay.
We went to our friends house (from church) to watch the Packer game on a huge screen. Like 12 by 8. But I don't know what it is exactly. Hannah and I went on the swings and had a game to see how far we could fling ourselfs off and land on our feet. It was a tie because we had no way to see who won. It was really fun. Anyways, I actually watched part of the Packer game! It was pretty interesting, but that was probably because I was tired out. It was really frustrating when Atlanta scored a touchdown when they could have easily defended it. Excuse me while I scream; ARRRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!
I have been reading lots of Garfield (the fat orange cat and not the president) comics. They're pretty entertaining, most of the time. My favorite cat is Nermal, the annoying but adorable kitten. How can you not love him? Unless you're Garfield, of corse. But Nermal can't help be be the cutest kitten ever!
Now Mom is demanding that I go upstairs and watch the football game. Who came up with the name "football" for football? Why isn't called "handball"? Because you do use your hands most of the time.
I wonder what's going to happen tomorrow...

The Not So Great Day

Today has not been the greatest. I have a stomach ache, cold, and too much math homework. The recipe for a miserable day, even though it's 75 degrees in October.
I have another math test on Tuesday, and I think that I'm going to fail. Again. On my last math test, I failed by getting a U. It's been taking me forever to get this math homework done, because I keep taking breaks. And even though I slept until 10 this morning, I'm still exhausted. Dad has been working on sawing the windows and trying to replace the rotten wood, so the sound of the saw hasn't helped either. It's just been giving me a headache.
Yesterday, I got to go to one of my friends, Rashelle's house. With my other friends, Krystal and Aubrey. We did a lot of fun things, such as play in the backyard, play Apples to Apples, watch TV, and play the board game Wizardology. I lost at Wizardology, but it took forever to finish. But it was fun.
Oh yeah, I just realized I have more homework to do. It's a sketchbook assingment about values and shading that's due on Monday. And I left it at school. I better get started over again...

I LOVE BACON

I couldn't think of anything else for the title of this post, and we had some bacon for dinner, so yeah. That's the title of this post. I know. It's weird. Deal with it.
Tomorrow is a half-day. Huzzah! And I already have plans. Our half day schedules are pretty weird. We have all the same subjects we usually do, just that every class is about 30 minutes long. At my elementary school, we would totally rearrange the schedule. Anyways, my plans are to go to the front office at the end of the half day with my 3 friends, Rashelle, Aubrey, and Krystal. Rashelle's mom will pick us up and drive to McDonald's so we can have lunch. That's another thing about our half day schedule that's weird; we don't get to eat lunch. Then, after eating lunch, we would go to Rashelle's house and hang out until 4pm. This should be super fun!
Other than that, my life is pretty much like every other adverage 6th grader. Homework, friends, homework, after-school clubs, and more homework. But I promise that this blog will be more interesting! Note that I didn't put the word "soon" becuase I don't know when it will get more interesting. But it will be interesting by the end of the month, that I can promise. So I will try to keep you readers posted!

I'm Sorry that I Haven't Posted in a While

I would put the title of this post in this sentence normally, but I couldn't come up with a better title. So there.
Guess what? I almost broke my wrist today! Whoopee! So here's the scoop; we always have to run 5 minutes around the think blue line in the gymnasium. I was running off to the side to tie my shoe, when WHAM!! someone had smashed into me. I must have flown 8 feet off to the side! So she was all like, "Oh my gosh, I'm sooooo sorry!!!"
So I was all like, "What's your problem, person?!" But I only said that in my head, so no one heard it but me.
What I really said was, "I'm fine." But I said that after about 10 seconds becuase I was stunned from the impact.
And then the teacher came over and said, "Are you okay?"
In my head I said, "Do I look ok? I'm on the point of sobbing, woman!!!" But what I really said was, "Yeah, I'm fine. Where's the health room?"
"Down the hall and turn the corner to the left. There should be a skinny hallway and the health room is near the end. "
Fast-forward to when I get home: "Mom, I think I broke my wrist. We should call a doctor."
Fast forward to when we get to urgent care: "Your wrist is absolutely fine! We don't even have to do an Xray," said the doctor. So that was basically a review of my whole afternoon.
Did I post about the time I got the free skinit.com giftcard? If I didn't, please comment and say so after you read my other posts. Anyways, it finally came today! Maybe I'll post a picture of it sometime. I had to clean off my iPod and stick it on. It looks super cool!
So here's the topic of commenting today; What was the worst thing that happened to you in elemantry or middle school? It can be a broken bone, friendship problem, stuff like that. I can't wait to read your comments!

This post is Mostly about school stuff

If you looked at the title of this post, you will know what this post is about. If you didn't look at the title, you should be doing that now.
So I have this MONSTER math quiz tomorrow, and I'm totally dreading it. I'm just taking a break from homework now, because along with studying (which I haven't done yet), I had to do 18 quiz questions. Oh joy. So it's about everything we did in the first 4 units of the chapter, which is long division, traditional multiplication, evaluating (their word for "solving) expressions with numbers and variables, the order of operations, powers, and exponents. The long division and traditional multiplication were not included in the book, and that's what I fail the most at.
On all of my other subjects at school, I'm doing pretty well, but I'm doing the worst in gym. My current grade is a C. That's from doing the push up, curl up tests, and the mile run. And my other worst grade is a B- in science.
At least tomorrow is Friday and it's Lounge Night at Elmbrook Church, for Mosaic. Mosaic is a middle to high school bible study. At Lounge Night, you buy snacks, play Foosball,on Wiis, chat with friends, and stuff like that. It's 7-10 pm and it's free to get in. I can't wait because this is going to be the highlight of my week!
Since we are doing a fundraiser at school, of course, they are going to have prizes. I myself am not participating. It's a waste of time. Anyways, one of the prizes is a gift card to Skinit.com, which is a website that sells skins for your electronic devices. So I strolling around the pavement, and guess what I find! A free gift card! So I shove it in my lunchbox and spent it as soon as I got home. Finders keepers, loser weepers! Yesterday, when I ordered it, it said that it would come in 2-5 days. So it could come anywhere between tomorrow and Wednesday!! YAY!!! :)
So tune in tomorrow (or whenever I feel like posting) to see what is happening in my life! ;) that's a winking smiley face, in case you didn't know.

Just Another Day

Over this week, my blog will maybe get boring because I will not be doing anything. I'm just warning you so you don't complain later.
So tonight I have MYSO. Whoop-de-doo. I have a nickname for our part-time conductor; the Bulldog. Just don't tell her I said that, because she has temper like one also. I hope and pray she isn't reading this right now. Anyways, we are playing four songs for our upcoming concert, the Playathon. We are performing Fright Night, A Touch of Ireland, Rondo, and Oxford Overture. I had a dream that I was someday going to have to play a song that sounds like that! I just didn't know what it was called at the time.
I really want my mom to sign me up for this event a Mosaic called "The Ultimate Overnight." It should be awesome, but my mom is thinking about me signing up because it's $45 (before October 6 and $55 after October 6) and $10 extra if you want to buy a game card at Dave and Buster's. I just hope that my mom comes to her senses and lets me go. This is the event of the year here, lady!!!
So, like I said before, this week could get boring, but maybe, maybe, I might have something to talk about later in the week. Maybe.

Not-so-Sunny Sunday

Today is going to be overcast and rainy/drizzly. And it's supposed to stay like that all week long. Just like my random mood swings.
So today we are greeters at church. Greeters are basically people who smile, open the door, and say "good morning" to you. How fun, I know. I usually just plaster on a fake smile and can get away with it. So I'm going to wear this nice outfit today, and my mom says, "Go change your pants. They look like high waters and so that means you're too small for them."
"But I think that they're fine!"
"Fine, look like a doofus when you go to church and see if I care. Which I won't."
   "Fine."
That's basically how my morning went.
We are also going to a family birthday party for my cousin, Gavin, who is turning 11. We (as in Mom and I) got him a dark purple hoodie sweater. It looks super comfortable, and even though it came from the Men's section at Kohl's, I would wear it. And my Mom let me get away from getting some stuff for myself, such as rainbow striped toe socks with pom-poms on the side and a pair of feathery red, white, and blue earrings. Mom had to convince me to go, but I finally budged when it started to rain. I was in a conversation with my best friend!
So I hope y'all have a great day, unlike mine so far.

Back Down the Rollercoaster

Today was fine until Mr.Hoffman dismissed us to the buses to go home. The clasp fell off of the front of my oboe, so when I tried to pick it up, all of the pieces fell out and it took a while to pick them all back up. I'm surprised that none of the pieces got stepped on.
To add to my wonderful day, my dad told me that my best friend was too sick so she couldn't come over to my house tomorrow. So I went up to my room as soon as I stepped inside to sulk and stare at the wall aimlessly. How fun. Why didn't I warn myself that this could happen? All day long, I was practically bouncing instead of walking. Her mom said every time that she stood up, she would fell dizzy and faint. So much for that plan.
Lastly (because you probably don't want to hear me mope much more), I had planned for 3 of my friends to come over and hang out. But the bank called and said that my parents' had a 3 o'clock meeting for something about the mortgage. So that's not happening either.
Winning $25000 couldn't make me any happier. I don't even know if I'm going to go to bible study tonight.

End of Line.

Happy Thursday

I have a lot of great news today! Hmm... Where should I start? I guess that I'll save the best for last.
So in gym class, we are doing our soccer unit!! I love soccer but I suck at it! The only bad thing about it is that we have to run back and forth and back and forth over and over. Oh well! Today, right when I was walking to gym, I scarfed down a cookie and power-walked to gym. So I change into my uber ugly uniform, and the teacher takes attendance. After running down and back the field 4 times, I felt like I was going to puke. Luckily, I didn't. But I still love to play soccer!
More good news is that I got and A+ on my culture bag! This assignment was to put together a brown grocery bag (with the front decorated) with stuff from your culture in it. Some parts of culture appearance, economy, government, recreation, tools, shelter, and stuff like that. I talked a little too fast in the beginning, but I got slower after the teacher said to please sloooow down. I think that I had one of the best bags. And I'm bringing my violin to play tomorrow, courtesy of Nick Gierach.
Last good news; my BFF, Cassidy Mallory, is coming down from Oshkosh (or was it Appleton?) and sleeping over at my house on Saturday!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!! And neither can two of my other friends, Isabella and Krystal. We are going to have the best times of our lives! We are going to have one of the best Twilight movie marathons ever. No offense.
I better get my homework done. And get to Aubrey's house before she kicks my butt.

End of Line.

Rainy Sunday

I love drizzly, rainy, days. When it's raining so that you should use an umbrella, but not hard enough that you can't go outside at all. So no thunder and lightning.
Sarah and I went to the park again today. We climbed up the pine tree of awesomeness, played American Idol in the rain shelter/stage area, played lily pads on the table and benches in the rain shelter/stage area, and rode our bikes. Same old, same old.
My dad made me change my desktop on the computer because it was a picture of Spy vs. Spy.
"We don't want you to read that crap you call a Mad magazine." Ok, I was exaggerating a little. He said it more like this:
"Please change your desktop picture because we don't want you to read the Mad magazine." We, as in Mom and I.
So another day was there and gone without me reading a Mad magazine.
Tonight I had a bible study called Mosaic at Elmbrook church in Brookfield. It's for middle to high schoolers, and it was pretty fun. The lesson was about being invisible. So my homework for this week (grooooan) is to say "hi" to someone you don't really know that well at school. It shouldn't be too hard, because I already have someone in mind. I'll tell you about it tomorrow.
So I better go get ready for bed so I actually can get up in the morning. Good night America!

One of the Most Boring Days

So, if you looked at the title, this has been one of the most boring days ever. Sure, my best friend Sarah and I hung out together for about 3 hours, but we didn't do much. First, we went to her house and watched YouTube movies for a little while, went to the park, followed the bug line, and went to the library, it really wasn't that fun. We biked around so much, I think that we bike more than 5 miles. Whoop dee doo.
Tomorrow, Mom and I have hospitality team tomorrow, so I have to get up at 7:00 am. In the morning. ON A WEEKEND. Hospitality for our church is basically putting out snacks on some lunch tables and making it look nice. Most people think that we shouldn't do hospitality at our church anymore, and I agree with them. It is a waste of money. But everybody is too afraid/chicken to announce that we don't want to do it anymore. And don't single me out, because I am NOT going to go up in front of all the church and announce that we aren't going to do hospitality anymore. I'm not that kind of person.
So I just want thank my viewers, commenters, and followers. Sure, this would have been possible without you, but it's good to know that someone has been reading this and has thoughts/comments about this. Thank you, once again.
Random question: Would you want to be trapped in a library for a night? Why or why not?

Ah, Friday

So now I've changed my posts to everyday to every other day or so. Life gets busy with math homework, MYSO, student council, drama club, and more. So you shouldn't expect a post everyday. Sorry.
I just applied for drama club, and I think that I should get in for a couple reasons. I turned the slip in on time, I payed the $10 fee, and I have straight A(s). So I should get in. Some people say that our drama program is crappy, but I don't think that it will be. Why you ask? Because my favorite teacher in the entire 6th grade (sorry Mr. Shurilla) Mrs. English, is teaching it!! Yay! By the way, she does teach Advance English/Language Arts/Literacy class. She also teaches advance math and science also. She's awesome! She might even let me use this blog as part of my grade! :D
So I have this Friday night bible study (the real name TBA) with some people from the church youth group, and it's super duper fun! It's at my friends, Bekah and Leah's house, because their dad teaches the group. They are in 6th grade and 3rd grade. They are both home schooled, so Bekah does 6th grade lessons and 5th grade activities. They both babysit during the bible lesson/discussion. First, we play a monster game of kickball, go inside and have snacks, and then have our lessons and small groups. From 6:30 to 8:00 pm. I can't wait!
My BFF Aubrey, is going to be here soon, so I better finish and get my homework done.

Back to School -- Again

I know that you're probably not going to believe this, but I'm getting a teensy weensy bit bored of school. Surprising, huh? I knew you were going to say that.
At least my first MYSO rehearsal starts tomorrow! I wonder what it's going to be like... My dad told me nothing about it, just that it used to be called Music for Youth and had one orchestra. So I have absolutely no idea about what's going to happen. Any ideas?
Tomorrow, we also start our first real art project. In the first week of school, we were doing a thing called a AlphaTangle. Tangles are like patterns, divided by strings drawn into the shape. Here is a picture:

Isn't it cool? I sure think so.
So, I want to hear your thoughts. I know, I should be patient, but WHY HASN'T ANYBODY COMMENTED YET????
